"Where is Mrs Christie?"

Wednesday 15th May, 7:30pm, Wedmore Hall, Wedmore, BS28 4EQ

In 1926 Agatha Christie was the centre of a mystery as perplexing as any of her fiction, one that sparked one of the biggest police hunts in history. Her crashed car was discovered in Surrey and she was missing, presumed dead, for 11 days.

She was eventually found at a luxury hotel in Harrogate, and claimed then, and for the rest of the life, that she remembered nothing. Neither the press nor the police believed her.

Actor Liz Grand (who performed in last year’s Arts Festival with The Second Best Bed) returns to Wedmore to ask: did Agatha Christie lie? If so why? Did she suffer from amnesia? Was it a publicity stunt? Or was there a darker secret involved?

Come and find out in this thrilling drama written and directed by Chris Jaeger MBE.
